final sunset of 2020 with my boys. a year of challenges we never could have anticipated - or even imagined. struggle. loss. transformation. may we remember all those who have been lost to the pandemic. their families. their friends. may we remember the frontline workers and essential workers who have cared for us and enabled us to survive. may we remember to be grateful. as we face the possibility of a new year - may we bring with us the lessons that this time has afforded us. the simple moments of reflection. the unexpected laughter. the revelation. the surrender. the catharsis. may we enter 2021 with both humility and hope. and may our resilience lead us to a more meaningful fulfillment from within. happy new year to everyone. may the coming year be radically brighter and more brilliant...

for all of the hard work. patience. perseverance. for the many essential workers. the officials. the administrators. the COUNTERS! for the restoration of dignity to the Office of President of the UNITED States... i am so deeply grateful. may we all allow for the celebrations - as well as for those who are grieving. may we recognize that the challenges we face will not discern between red and blue. may we ALL move forward with respect and return to a kind of empathy that has been sorely missing from our political discourse these past four years. may we welcome the possibility of a future with humanity rather than partisanship at the forefront of our minds. and may our heats be open to each other so that the foundation of our democracy can be RE-stabilized and built upon. congratulations PRESIDENT @joebiden and VICE PRESIDENT @kamalaharris on your decisive and historic VICTORY!

there’s so much at stake in this election – for me, for my community, and for those who are hurt most by injustice in this country. the most important thing i think we can do this close to the election is talk to our friends and family about voting. help them make a plan to vote and learn what issues are on your ballot. together, we can do this.
