Happy birthday to my sister from my mother’s sister. You’ve always been my favorite Valentine, Bron. Ours is one of my very favorite love stories...matching footie pj’s, shared tubby times, our first trip to Paris, and holidays that never quite feel the same when we’re apart. Thank you for unconditionally loving me, warts and all. If you had any warts, I’d love those too. May we never go this long without seeing each other ever ever again. I have “accomplished” nothing on my lock down to do list. Nada. Not one single thing, don’t even think about looking in my garage or closet. I have spent some time examining my programming around progress, productivity and accomplishing. I’ll have to get back to you on that front... I’m still processing. Meantime, I have read some incredible books. Many of them recommended by my sister wife @christinelennonplus2, who somehow intuits just what the literary doctor orders.... this one made me ugly cry, in a good way. And it felt like a much yearned for trip to Italy. What are you reading? I just started one my mom sent, #Hamnet and it’s great. What should I send Christine who sent me Beautiful Ruins and Writers and Lovers recently, or my Mom who sends the whole family stacks and stacks every Christmas?

Safely visited the wishing tree at Descanso Gardens today. And I cried, (like you told me too @michaelmedicola) and just like I did when I visited Shrines and Temples in Japan and read the prayers handwritten and hung up on small wooden plaques (with @mauracraig1). At the time I thought it might be the jet lag. Today I know it’s the reminder that we are all so much more alike than we are different. My little one will get her wish, but over zoom this year. And we will hold out hope for next Christmas. Meantime I join the prayers I read today (swipe). May everyone have a home; I wish Marie and everyone like her peace in their time of such grief; may your life be happy and healthy and may LOVE ALWAYS FIND YOU; to Jackson’s Aunt, I pray your “darling nephew”will be cured of cancer; may the states be truly united in love; may Covid be over; and above all may there be MORE MAGIC.

Thank you for the birthday messages...the texts, calls, dms, zooms, facetimes, and the posts and video edits (how do you do those edits and those epic photo grids? ) This may have been one of my favorite birthday celebrations...it was a simpler day and my receiver seemed to be in better working order. 🤪 Really grateful for the love and sending it right back.
