Yesterday was absolutely heartbreaking. I don't care which side you're on or what party you're affiliated with. I don't care about your theories or trying to debunk them. Yesterday a sacred Temple of democracy was desecrated. Blood was shed within its walls. Those that are sent to represent us were cowering in fear for their lives. Vandalized, invaded, disrespected and defiled on a day when one of the sacred acts of the American union was to be held. Yesterday was a stain on American history that will not wash off. Ironically, watching this from abroad in Europe, it was joked that if these same images we were seeing were happening in another country, America would immediately step in to save those people from tyranny and violence. The joke is on us all. This is not the way. We were left with more questions and more problems and some of us received one particular message and it hit us very loud and clear. Some Americans will be shot for just walking while others get the door held open for them and are allowed to walk right in. We need to start taking a look at our collective definitions of patriotism, terrorism and treason. We must also look inward and examine the gross hypocrisy displayed. So sickening and sad. This just came up in my memories Playing music is starting to feel like a memory. 2020 has been so hard, not being able to go to shows, go dancing, tour or play shows and to add an extra pinch of pain I broke my left hand this summer and needed two casts, hand surgery, two pins and physical therapy. I'm starting to feel much better and hopefully we'll be doing this again soon. This is the video of the moment I got my @gibsonguitar Explorer. Straight out the box plugged straight into practice amp. I miss her so much. I miss making ugly playing guitar faces.. I mean I can still do it without the guitar but it gets really creepy. Another gloomy day in Scandinavia.... It's dark here by 3:30 pm now and it makes it hard to get up and get out... I only got half dressed as the coziness of my @myrkurmyrkur shirt made it impossible to take another step. Spent the day curled up with a good book and watching @southpark for some laughs. It may not look like it but I love this weather and this time of year but November has always been my hardest month to get through.
