the @mayorofla 's proposed budget is a nauseating affront to the people of Los Angeles; he is proposing to turn around and give to the very cops who are assaulting the people they are sworn to protect 50% of the budget. that must not stand. the LAPD and every police organization in this country are gangs. sanctioned by us. to protect property and wealth and white power above all else. they need to be economically taken out at the fucking knees. take away all their unnecessary military toys. purge them of their sadists and white supremacists. redefine their very role. there should be no such thing as a "patrol" in any neighborhood in this country. this money should go to communities desperate to recover from not only the COVID pandemic but from the 400 years or so of state-sanctioned violence to which our silence has given consent. i'm late on this budget issue. i'm late on talking about all of it. no matter where you live, please fight at your local and state level for human rights; that starts with dismantling the racist criminal justice system and its mall-cop-with-a-tank security force. my comments section is not a free speech zone. i will delete dumb-assery at will. ️ #blacklivesmatter
