I am so grateful to have a job that takes me to new cities and allows me to connect with so many talented people from all over. I recently had the pleasure of meeting @chrisweberhair (someone I’ve stalked on Instagram for a long time) and he performed some of his signature hair magic @vanillaloft

A little before and after action today! We sanded down the cabinets (ourselves) and switched out the hardware, painted the room a bright white and the windows black (ourselves) and changed out the dated chandelier with this epic fixture from @circalighting. (Fun fact about this table is that my father-in-law and his best friend made it just for us.) ️ Design by @almcuration @claireleahy

The holidays are coming to an end and I’ll be honest...I’m sort of thrilled. I often refer to myself as the Grinch because I find this time of year to be a bit depressing. This “festive” season can often be a reminder of how (it seems) everyone else on the planet is experiencing immense amounts of joy and gratitude while so many just simply are not. If you’re experiencing deep stress, hardship, grief, loss, depression, illness etc., social media can sometimes be a painful place to be...but please remember that you’re not alone, and it’s ok to not be jamming out to Christmas music, putting up decorations or baking cookies. (And know that all those happy people may also be going through something challenging, but unfortunately sugar cookies and cocktails make for better content than reality this time of year.) Sending you all so much love and wishes for a beautiful 2021. This Grinch loves you and sharing life with these two makes my heart grow three sizes.
