It was an honour to speak to the group of leaders within @glencoreplc today in Emerald. Nothing brings me more fulfilment that being able to share my journey, experiences and advice in order to positively effect others. Some of the main points I spoke about today were: 1) Having an unbeatable preparation - working hard behind the scenes so you are able to stand up when the time counts, flick into autopilot and deliver with confidence. 2) Control the Controllables - don't spend time focusing on what you can't do or on what others might do ... think only about what YOU can control and do that to the best of you're ability. 3) Take time to work on yourself - It's the most important work you can do, because who you are inside will determine what your outside world looks and feels like. Take just 10-15 mins a day alone, walking, meditating, whatever (without phones) and just listen to what's going on in between your ears. What do you need to work on? What do you need to let go of ? How could you be better? What brings you the most fulfilment? At the end of that day, to be the best at something, you have to work bloody hard. It's not going to magically happen overnight. Be consistent and be willing to GRIND. Hard work that comes from a place of positive desire and purpose, always pays off. Tonight's food for thought #HungryForChange ... absolutely recommend everyone watching this, especially if you find the diet industry overwhelming and confusing. To me, eating should be simple. If foods are in there original state & unrefined they are generally good for you (fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, seeds) And stay away from overly processed foods (Soft drinks, cereals, biscuits, white breads) Of course there are some exceptions to this rule while is why you MUST always, always look at the food labels and educate yourself of the ingredients. My belief is, if you can't pronounce the ingredient then don't eat it. The cleaner you eat, the more nutrients you get and the better you feel. The documentary is on @netflix Let me know in the comments below what you think of it.

Working hard in the gym this afternoon, not because I was super motivated, but because I'm not willing to compromise on my goals. Stop thinking everything needs to be perfect and that you have to feel motivated to workout ... just get up and DO IT. Don't overthink it .. JUST DO IT!!! You're never going to get better at something, or see results, if you're always waiting for the perfect session to arrive. Trust me, they are few and far between. Plus, the sessions that actually get you closer to your goals are the ones you didn't want to do, but you did it anyway.

Sending everyone a Big SMILE for a wonderful afternoon. Remember, we are all able to control our emotions and feelings ... it's about becoming more aware of the thoughts you think and the internal conversation you are having. When you notice yourself being critical, reinforce the fact that you are progressing well, making good choices and always learning. There's nothing wrong with a bit of conflict in your life because it clearly shows you what you don't want, so you can clearly determine what you do want. Instead of being hard on yourself in these times, remind yourself that life is happening FOR YOU, not TO YOU. Quickly learn the lessons you need to learn, so you can move forward positively. That's they key to happiness in my opinion ... not trying to show the world your happy & have it all together when deep down you don't...just be authentic and real with yourself. We all experience conflicts, it's about how you get through them that counts!!

During the week, I don't like to spend lots of time working out. I prefer to just get in and get it done so I can focus my energy on business projects. So when it comes to the weekend, I love getting outside in the fresh air and going for long walks. When I was swimming I always thought walking was so boring and a waste of time because it wasn't physically that challenging. But now I frikken love it. More so for the mental freedom it bring me. Being able to let my mind wonder and sort through all the different feelings that are present within my mind at the time and find clarity or reason behind them. Walking allows me to be "in flow" and I always find myself in a better headspace after a walk. It's even better walking with someone because you can reach such depths in the conversation ... @courtyhickey and I love going on manifesting walks where we talk about everything we desire, goals for the future and what is will be like. They are seriously Magic Find the reason you choose to love exercising your body ... and if you can't do that, think of what would happen if you didn't workout ... what are the consequences??

The grind is definitely tough, but when you start seeing your hard work payoff it makes all those shit days SO WORTH IT!! There's always positives to be taken from every day...it's just a matter of shifting your perception.

Did a quick session at the gym (25mins) followed by a huge afternoon of ADMIN. Hahaha I ended up making so many calls sitting in my car like this and walking up and down the street. This week my intention is to be more effective with time scheduling. I generally just do what needs to be done in the moment and have an ever growing "to do list" so today was the start of being more focused and dedicating specific time to certain tasks. The result after a big day non stop (still going actually) ... I got SOOOO much done AND I feel a lot more relaxed knowing the time I have spent was incredibly focused, as I'm usually constantly distracted. That's mainly because I work from home, so a load of washing here and there, or washing up a few dishes in between emails is pretty normal for me. Not today though, and I'm making a conscious effort to fully apply myself to tasks, then consciously sign out when I need a mental break or snack. I hope that helps some of you other entrepreneurs out there who have to go it along in the home office, or for anyone who wants to continue to improve their time management

People ask me for fitness and food motivation/inspiration all the time. Simply put, I workout NOW because it makes me more energised, focused and calm. Without energy, you can't conquer any dreams or goals. That's why I value my health so much, and I will always be consistent because I KNOW how much it benefits my life holistically. Most people know how to eat healthy and know they should workout, but don't follow through with the action. Stop limiting yourself by what you have always done and start creating the life you want to live ... it all starts with having ENERGY to make a change. The past few days I've been at a Coaching Course on the Gold Coast from 8-6.30pm. They are big days but there incredibly interesting ... my mind feels like it's going to explode with all this new information. Because we are sitting down most of the day, it's been so important for me to workout in the mornings and move my body, even if just for 15mins like I did this morning, because it completely changes my state, energy and mindset. I hear people say "I'm too busy to workout," really they are saying "I don't value my health as much as ______" because if you did, you would always find a way. Don't be the person that starts working out when they are 5kg overweight or when you have a health issue ... be proactive and realise that without our health, we have nothing else anyway.

It was wonderful to be invited onto the @morningshowon7 to talk about LIFE AFTER SPORT!! The journey post sport has been a tough one, but one I'm also so grateful for ... especially now that the media is openly sharing and covering the struggles. I sincerely hope that with my social media post and interviews like this, that it can ease other people's inner demons and empower them to stay positive through the ups and downs. Also that it helps people understand the process that occurs through transition so they can be the best support for others. I'm constantly blown away by the heartwarming comments and stories you share with me on Instagram, so thank you so much for your constant encouragement, support and belief in me. You are all a light in my life and I hope I can be one in yours.

Dreaming of an Açaí bowl for breaky, especially in this heat!! I have done a lot research into different foods and diets and found some disappointing things. The food industry, in my opinion, is so frikken confusing. They make it so hard to decipher what's good for you and what's not. Labels like "fat free" make you think it's healthy but generally when you look at the label there are a bunch of additives, preservatives and chemicals that are added to it to make it fat free. I believe most people really want to make the right choices and live a healthy life, so adding add some superfoods into your diet can be of great benefit. Whether it's: ️Adding some chia seeds to your cereal/porridge ️Putting a small tsp of green power, maca powder or Açaí to your smoothies to help alkalise your system. ️Throwing some goji berries in your salad. Adding superfoods to your meals can help boost your nutritional intake and help support your body's functions. Plus they are clean, natural and full of goodness. I'm not a huge fan of making recommendations but I highly encourage everyone to go to your local chemist and buy a few different packets of @bioglanau superfoods. They are top quality and because they are all in the one spot, you don't have to feel overwhelmed by options. I would love your feedback on your experiences with superfoods and how it has helped you. Finally got to meet the gorgeous @charlottecaslick and eat Açaí bowls together. What a superstar she is!!! The best part about being an Olympian is that you are apart of such a unique team and share a deep respect for all other Olympians. It doesn't matter the sport they play or country they compete for, you just respect and understand the journey they have been on and what it took to get there. What is especially amazing is that @charlottecaslick won GOLD 🥇 in the women's Rugby 7's team in RIO ... the first gold EVERRRR for the sport as it was just introduced in 2016. GIRL POWER Well done hunny, so wonderful to chat and connect ... you superstar

Monday morning means back into some exercise and routine. Because I had a HUGE weekend working the @racerice stall I was pretty exhausted this morning, so I just did a nice light workout. Only about 20mins long, just to get the blood flowing and loosen up my muscles. The thing to remember with exercise is that you should operate in harmony with the other aspects of your life. Take a holistic approach!! So if your tired and run down from your day job or work, then don't smash yourself with an intense workout and make yourself more exhausted and create more cortisol in your system. Listen intuitively to what your body is calling out for... Is it a light walk in the fresh air! Or a great yoga class to really stretch out and come back to balance. Or maybe it's a high intensity, sweat session to get out of your head. This is why I don't like to follow a program as such, because we all have different lives and different tolerance levels for stress. Don't always just do what you're "told to do" think about what's best for you. There is a fine line between slacking off and genuinely needing to take it easy. In my experience, 1 will make you feel guilty deep down and the other with nourish you.

Açaí Bowl Goodness for a natural energy lift this morning. I always feel better when I eat smoothies or Açaí bowls in the morning over toast or something more processed. Mainly because it's so easy to digest and hydrates your body after sleeping. Sometime I go out to buy an Açaí bowl but when I'm working from home, like today, I just make my own. I use a packet of frozen Açaí and the @bioglanau Açaí powder + coconut water, then top it with seasonal fruit, buckinis and coconut Don't make eating healthy hard work!! Make the decision to take care of the 1 precious body we have and fuel it with the best quality ingredients ... like you would a Rolls-Royce
