Do you ever feel like your not getting the results you want in the gym? Are you training hard and not seeing results? _ I find many times with my new clients that they are not eating in alignment with their goals. The fitness industry is a trillion dollar business because it’s not easy to figure out what to do. A lot of people are under eating while training and lifting heavy and never getting results. You can’t build muscle if your eating 1x a day. Master your meal plan, learn to eat in alignment with your goals you’ll start seeing results. Nutrition is 80% of the equation workouts are 20% and mindset is 100%. _ Today was legs and glutes _ Single Leg Deadlift - Stand on one leg, on the same side that you hold the kettlebell. Keeping that knee slightly bent, perform a stiff-legged deadlift by bending at the hip, extending your free leg behind you for balance. Continue lowering the kettlebell until you are parallel to the ground, and then return to the upright position. _ Kettle Bell Squats - Grab the handle of the kettlebell with both hands in an overhand grip and hold it in front of your chest. Stand tall with the feet about shoulder-width apart and toes pointed outward. Descend down into a squat position until the crease of your hip drops below the knee and thighs are parallel with the floor. _ Box Squats - The box squat allows you to squat to desired depth and develop explosive strength in the squat movement. Begin in a power rack with a box at the appropriate height behind you. Typically, you would aim for a box height that brings you to a parallel squat, but you can train higher or lower if desired. _ Barbell Bridges HEAVY - Begin seated on the ground with a loaded barbell over your legs. Using a fat bar or having a pad on the bar can greatly reduce the discomfort caused by this exercise. Checking in!! I’ve been training soooo hard over the last 6 weeks. Workouts 5-6 times a week focusing on glutes 3x a week and minimal cardio. The plan is to bring the waist in and keep the booty full. My weight is still at 155 but waist has gone down and my booty is remaining at around 40 inches. Training with @teamelitephysique to get a certain look not competition prep. _ Muscle memory is awesome as I’ve explained I’ve been working on myself for about 6 years. If you swipe you’ll see photos from when I competed. This did not happen overnight but you can build a booty in the gym. In my opinion genetics will play a roll in how fast you can build. Most people stop when the fat starts coming off and they feel like it’s shrinking but if you keep going you’ll build muscle. Muscle sits higher and you can shape muscle, fat hangs and it’s not appealing undressed. _ On a side note I post body transformation photos to inspire other WOMEN to go after their goals and show what’s possible even after 4 kids. Do wake up saying “ugh I have to go workout today” or are you excited thinking “I’m grateful I get to workout today” _ 🧐 The power of thought will make or break your life. Ask yourself if your mind filled negative thoughts or positive thoughts. It's easy to fall into negative thoughts without even realizing it. You slowly find yourself getting tired and run down from the energy of feeding a negative mind. It's starts off small, for example, your not wanting to get up in the morning, which then rolls into a thought of hating your job, and then rolls into a thought of feeling like your not enough because your not going after the things that make you happy. You start making excuses like I can't quit this job to run my own business and make my own hours because I don't have the money, I don't have the time, life isn't fair,and I was delt the wrong cards. _ Soon it spirals and all those negative UNTRUE words take over your life and it leaves no room for air. Suddenly your drowning ..STOP!!! _ ️ Today is a new day lets start to undo some of those negative thought patterns. I believe the first 10 minutes of your morning affects you the most lets start there. Tomorrow set your alarm 10 minutes earlier, pick out some motivational listening or meditation music, put your headphones on and just relax for the first 10 minutes and be open to taking in something positive. How many times a week do you work out your legs and booty? Answer below please? ‍♀️ _ Try these 5 exercises in a circuit, move exercise to exercise with no breaks. I do high reps low weight, aim for 25 reps and go through the circuit 4-5 times. _ Cable Squats, attach the cable to the working leg or the leg that is in motion. This will be the leg opposite from the cable. Attach the the cable to your leg cuffs (I purchased mine on amazon) and pull the leg out and go into a squat. You’ll feel this in your outer thigh and booty. _ Cable crane lunge- This is called a crane lunge because the working leg will come up to your belly button giving your core a bit of a workout along with legs. Attach the cable to the working leg and start in a lunge as you pull your leg up your using your quads and core to move the weight. For this I used 20lbs but I could have gone heavier, balance will be an issue in the beginning. _ Weighted Fire Hydrants -get on all fours and place the weight in the crease of your leg behind your knee. Lift your leg in a side motion and go for 25 each leg. Choose a weight that is not too heavy but also not too light. _ Glute Leg Kickbacks- Staying in the same position as above your going to kick your leg back now. You won’t be able to lift your foot too high of you’ll find the weight rolls on your thigh. Understanding life has a balance is key in discovering happiness. You won’t be happy every single day. Does anyone remember that song by @reba called Fancy? _ Every time I hear that song so much runs through my head. When I was 15 I had my first baby, by 16 I was married and in a very abusive relationship by 17 I was a single mom with an 8th grade education. I was living with my parents who didn’t have much and were heroin addicts. I wanted nothing more than to get out. I waitressed her and there but working for tips would never get me out. _ One day my mom showed me an ad in the paper for a “modeling job” she asked if I wanted to go interview. I had done 1 modeling job for wal-mart prior and she knew I liked it. _ She drove me down to the address not far from our house. It was during the day and walking in I saw girls half naked on stage and a lot of people. The lights were low and it smelled like liquor. I was terrified because I thought umm this is not “modeling”. We went into an office and sat with the manager he explained what the job was and how you got paid. He also explained I needed to be 18 and my mom pulled out a photo ID that said I was 18 and handed it to him. She filled out some paperwork as I sat there quietly listening. When we walked out my mom said that I needed to do this. She didn’t look at me she looked forward and I felt the coldness in her emotion. I trusted my mom though she’s all I had. _ We sat in the car and she said you can’t tell your dad. I’ll watch the baby if you work at night but this will get you the money you need to start your life. That night, she did my hair and make-up and gave me lingerie and shoes to wear in a bag. My mom dropped me off that night and that’s how I eventually got myself out of her house. _ That song always hits me right to my heart, I try to think did my mom make the right decision? As a mom I know I would never do that to my kids. Sometimes I get really angry and sometimes I’m like I wouldn’t be who I am today had I not been through that. _ I’m glad I turned out to be the woman I am today. The hard things we went through mold us into who we are today. Slowly letting go of everything but never forgetting the things that made me grateful for my life now. There is a reason I fight to keep it.

️What is the first thing you do in the morning? Do you reach for your phone? Look at the news? Answer below _ Earlier this year I was at a conference and I heard them say “What you do in the first 10 minutes of waking will determine your day” and I thought about it. I realized I was one of those people who would open my eyes pick up my phone, check emails and look at my DM’s. 90% of the time it would put me in a bad mood because I was starting my day serving other people by reading their problems and solving them. I was in a space of service but not in the right mindset to do it. I decided to change some things up, for starters I don’t pick up my phone within the first hour of waking. I get up, I listen to some personal development (preferably TD Jakes) I make my tea and I take care of myself before I serve everyone else. By making this little change I’ve seen how my day changed for the better. Morning rituals and habits are so important. Think about what you can do to change how you start your days. ️ _ ️5 Morning Rituals To Make Each Day Happier and More Productive _ Rise early- A study found that people who are successful in business are often early risers. If you set your alarm for an early wake-up time, you can start the day on your own terms - before everyone else makes their demands. _ Enjoy breakfast -Rather than dashing out of the house with coffee in hand or skipping breakfast altogether, spend a few minutes enjoying that first meal. I think I’m gonna write a new program for January 🧐 _ Remember: Every pro started as an amateur and we've all struggled at one point or another. Once you make the decision to not quit or give up no matter what you'll start seeing those results. How many times do you normally eat in a day? Answer in the comments please‍♀️ _ I eat 5-6 times a day depending on my training and my goals. The idea is to starve the fat and feed the muscle. I want to create a caloric deficit but still have 5 small meals so I’m stimulating my metabolism. I’ll add a protein shake using Rebuild Strength on days I workout which is NOT a meal it’s more of an addition or simply a high protein recovery for me. _ The method above works best for me due to my busy schedule and my budget. I feel amazing and my energy is through the roof. I see the best results even with my #hypothyroidism _ As I have mentioned several times I used to be a yo-yo dieter, I’ve tried every fad diet on the market. I’ve used every weight loss pill including phen phen from back in the day. I found it all to be a quick fix that I couldn’t continue long term. I wasn’t learning lifestyle changes just temporary things that made me unhappy. _ I come from a line of heavy people so I have to really fight to keep the weight off. I have 4 kids and my last 2 pregnancies I got up to 200lbs both times. I love food!! I think I train so I can eat lol _ Eating 5 times a day has been key to keeping the weight off. The hardest part has always been figuring out what to eat and now I have a gluten sensitivity which makes figuring out what to eat even harder. Luckily I have my meal replacement shakes which are gluten free an the rest is pretty easy. When trying to build a booty are you looking for all around ️shape or projection and🤩 fullness? Comment below please _ Sculpting a round, firm "bubble" butt not only improves its appearance, it can improve your mobility and your health, as well. The gluteal muscles provide support to the upper body and assist in mobility. Exercises that target the glutes strengthen and tone the muscle but won't reduce the fat. To get rid of fat you need to include cardiovascular exercise in your workout. Getting rid of the Fat helps with shape. _ Cable Front Squats - i do these with bands to really focus on butt and quad muscles. I do 3 sets of 15 _ Kneeling squats with band (weights suggested;not shown) - With your head looking forward, sit back with your butt until you touch your calves. Reverse the motion, returning the torso to an upright position. The band adds resistance. As an advanced movement I like doing these in the smith machine with weight. _ Frog Kicks (using bands and a ball as alt) Lie down on the bench with your hips on the edge and your legs tucked underneath. Be sure to be gripping the bench firmly underneath you. Fully extend both legs straight out and contract the meuscle in your lower back and buttocks at the end of the movement. What’s your favorite holiday? Comment below please _ Me and Giovanni literally can not get enough Halloween He loves getting scared and he loves candy so it’s the perfect combo. This year is his first real Halloween so I’m excited he’s been singing Halloween songs for months. Yesterday I took him to Disneyland Halloween event and he loved it. _ As a kid my dad used to make our costumes from hand he would sew and glue everything together. One year he made my brother into a hobo spider and me into a cat. My brother won 🥇 the costume contest at the mall that year. He would start in the beginning of October making our costumes and we would get so excited. I think that’s why I love Halloween so much. It’s Friday checkins on my team but I thought I would also share here. _ I gained a pound I’m now at 156 been lifting heavy focusing on booty 3x a week. My butt is higher, rounder and has more projection I can see major change. I’m not tripping about the number on the scale I know I have a lot of muscle under this fluff. _ As many of you know I’m #hypothyroid I was diagnosed about 4 years ago after competing. My doctor says my thyroid is “in range” but I feel like something is off. I’m normally around 135 maybe 142. I’m not sick lol but I know my body and things are off. So now we are doing a DNA test to get my genetic range of where my thyroid should be and also looking at other hormones. _ None of this slows me down and I don’t let a “diagnosis” bring me down. I do cardio 5x a week and I work out 6x a week heavy. It’s about staying strong mentally and creating good habits. Please don’t DM me and ask me to diagnose you I’m not a doctor. As a mom of 4 and a full time entrepreneur time is valuable to me. I try and save time but it backfires sometimes. I love asking people what’s harder food or workouts? Comment below which do you struggle with _ If you ask me understanding food is the hardest thing. What to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat? Carbs, no carbs, fats, how much protein? _ Working out and eating towards your specific goals can get complicated. I’ve struggled with food for years, I’ve tried every diet you can think of. For me the hardest thing was finding something I could use in the long run not short term. Most fad diets are made for short term results but no one teaches you what to eat to maintain results. _ If you really want to start seeing your body change in the gym focus on your meal plan and what your eating. Learn to meal prep and find what works for you. Back and Booty I need suggestions on future videos please comment below! _ Cable Kneeling Pull down -Pull cable rope down until elbows are back and inside of rope attachment is behind neck. Return attachment over head until shoulder is completely flexed upward. Repeat. _ Weighted bridge- (I used a dumbbell in place of a barbel) Begin seated on the ground with a bench directly behind you. Have a loaded barbell over your legs. Using a fat bar or having a pad on the bar can greatly reduce the discomfort caused by this exercise. Roll the bar so that it is directly above your hips, and lean back against the bench so that your shoulder blades are near the top of it. Begin the movement by driving through your feet, extending your hips vertically through the bar. Your weight should be supported by your shoulder blades and your feet. Extend as far as possible, then reverse the motion to return to the starting position. _ Wide grip Pulldown- Position yourself on the lat pulldown machine and grab the bar using an overhand grip with your hands a little wider than shoulder width. Slowly pull the bar straight down in front of you until it is positioned at either chin level (as seen in the photo) or the middle/upper part of your chest. The position will depend on your level of flexibility in your shoulders, so only go low enough to a point that is comfortable. Comment below please _ 🧐 Over the weekend someone said to me ... “What you think of yourself says more about you than what others think of you” I have to say that really hit me. It made me question what do I think of myself. More importantly what do I BELIEVE about myself. I get laser focused on what others say and think about me when it’s negative and rarely hear the positive. _ Obviously the positive outweighs the negative but by nature I think we want everyone to like us. When they don’t we don’t understand why. We naturally want to be accepted and loved. I grew up with a lack of love and attention from my parents and as an adult I crave it. That’s who I am, I strive to be likeable but I fight with standing my ground on not changing to be liked. _ Not everyone will like you. People will dislike you and not even know why. People will get mad with you, dislike you and tell everyone around you but never tell you. That’s the nature of people and it reflects their skills in communication not you. _ Insanity is believing that EVERYONE will like and agree with you. Learning to be okay with that is my internal struggle. Focusing on what I think of myself and what I believe about myself is my goal. Learning that if I just love myself then that is ENOUGH! _ Love and accept yourself first then spread that to everyone who is open to it. Never try and force others to want to be in your space. In January I said 2018 will be the year I get my butt as big as I can But I wasn’t too consistent over the summer. I have a specific look in mind. I did it back in like 2015 my legs were muscular my butt full and my waist was small. I loved the look but I couldn’t maintain the low calorie diet. Luckily I’ve learned more over the last few years on maintaining and getting results. _________________ Currently my stats are Height 5’3” Weight 155 Waist 28 Hips 40 ________________ I’ve been more consistent over the last 40 days with workouts, cardio and meal plans. Still dealing with my thyroid all over the place and recovering from being over medicated. My meds still are not stable but my drive and mindset are 100%. The scale hasn’t moved in over a month but I’m losing inches all over. I know as a coach sometimes your body needs to stabilize and 155 will look different on every person. I want to be muscular but in my mind I want to be 115 for my physique that’s unrealistic. I’m enjoying the journey and looking forward to the package I’m bringing into 2019. I’m not too much focused on the scale but focusing on enjoying the journey and finding balance _ Building a body your happy with takes time and consistency. The picture in your head of what you want and what your body is capable of may be different. Accept yourself where you are now and work with excitement towards your goal. Doing it alone is hard sometimes find a coach or a trainer. Celebrating small goals is exciting think about working with a group for support as well. Remember results are 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. Don’t kill yourself in the gym and not be intentional with what’s going in your mouth. Anyone can go to the gym but controlling what you put in your mouth for the next 24 hours is the real struggle. Are you starving? Do you feel hungry or have you starved yourself for so long you forgot what “hungry” feels like. _ Most will read that and think I’m referring to food No I’m talking about life and you. Are you complacent in life? Are you stuck at a standstill? Some may have recently been hit with devastation that crippled us. Have you stopped moving towards progression? _ I remember being stuck in this circle of life. Waking up, going to work, coming home, eating and sleeping. Sometimes I could afford to do something on the weekends. I wasn’t hungry for life I was just in it. _ I looked around and saw my kids were in the same boring circle of life I was in. They didn’t wake up excited about life or their day. Funny how our kids duplicate us in so many ways. The people around me were the same just moving in a robotic way and complaining all the time. It was depressing when I looked up and realized I was living day to day. Turning checks, no excitement, and no real hunger for life or progression. _ I left that life when I decided to become an entrepreneur and run my own business. Now I’m excited when I wake up, my kids are excited and the people around me are positive and motivating. One of my favorite things about Network Marketing is the ability to grow around like minded people. When I’m down they pull me up and we are always moving towards a goal. No one is stale, no one is complaining, and everyone is HUNGRY for success. _ Too many times we get caught in life stuck but you can break free when you make a decision to change. Anyone looking to build a booty? Drop a in the comments if I can post more workouts. _ I hate when people say I was working out and my butt started getting smaller so I stopped. 🤦‍♀️ _ You can build and mold muscle but you can’t mold fat. You either want a butt that is filled with fat or one that has more muscle. A fat butt will hang lower, have cellulite and not look firm. A muscular butt is perky, it’s firm but not like a rock and you can build muscle in places you focus on. You’ll need to shed the fat and build the muscle so don’t stop when the fat starts coming off. _ Growing a booty happens when your eating the right amounts of protein and carbs. It’s knowing how to recover and what supplements will work. Nutrition is 80% of your results ladies. You can not out workout a bad diet. _ Building a butt takes time your behind may get smaller at first but then you switch to lifting heavy and eating right as well as supplementing and over time you’ll see your butt will grow. _ I train booty 3x a week 2x heavy and my meal plan has changed drastically for this building phase. Figuring out what is gonna work takes time so be patient. This happens over time there is no shortcuts. _ Go beyond squats, lunges and deadlifts. Do a little research and get creative change up your workouts. Do things out of your comfort level and understand you’ll need to lift HEAVY in order to build. If your mouth is moving during your whole workout it’s a hint your not lifting heavy enough. _ Glute Mass-Building Exercises You're Probably Not Using Barbell Glute Bridge. Shoulder-Elevated One-Leg Hip Thrust. Double Bench Hip Thrust Anterior Leaning Lunges Rear-Foot Elevated Leaning Squats Single-Leg RDLs (with Dumbbell and Cables _ Glute muscle is no different from any other muscle in your body so work everything out. ‍♀️Do you put more energy into workout or nutrition? Comment below please I answer and ️like back. _ Do traditional squats hurt your neck and back? Here is an alternative move you can try. BUILD POWER AND SIZE IN ONE MOVE! ‍♀️ • The set-up: Place roughly the same amount of weight that you would squat onto one end of a barbell. This will become the top end of the bar. Put the bottom end into a corner of the room, ensuring it’s secure enough to be lifted without slipping out of the corner. • The squat: Grip the top of the bar with your palms facing each other and your body facing the corner. Squat all the way down. Hold this stance to ensure the move activates your glutes and hamstrings. These muscles are essential for explosive movements in all sports. • The push: Explode upwards until your knees are only slightly bent. At the same time, bring the end of the barbell to the top of your chest. Clenching your abs here activates the core, which will chisel out a six-pack quicker than endless crunches. • The finish: When the bar levels with your chest, push it away. Keep your back straight and your glutes flexed. Reverse the move back to the start: that’s 1 rep.
